The cloudiness of the final product is a quality indicator for the best raw, unpasteurized vinegar. A traditional health food relied on for centuries to sooth, rejuvenate and boost health, apple cider vinegar can also be applied externally to provide relief for sunburn, insect bites, acne, and sore muscles. You can make an easy pick-me-up tonic by mixing a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and a tablespoon of honey in a glass of water. Naturally sweet, it makes an excellent ingredient in sauces and dressings.
